Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated, well-organised and hands-on individual with 1–3 years of experience in both the planning and buying of online media (CPM, CPC and CPA) campaigns. Working in a small team, as well as independently, the candidate will be given high levels of autonomy, but is expected to deliver quality work in a timely fashion. Learning will be provided across a variety of subjects, via Creme Digital Academy, directly related to media trading, such as bidding strategies, advanced platform features, inventory volume and price volatility studies, analytics implementation and analysis, campaign tagging with parameters and javascript, as well as strong foundations/refresher on marketing (101).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple digital media platforms, for multiple clients.
  • Monitor, manage and optimise on-going campaigns and report on results using marketing platform tools, analytics reporting and internal templates.
  • Analyse client websites/apps and identify analytics/tagging requirements and recommend appropriate action to ensure campaign tracking/reporting success
  • Ability to implement and customise marketing tags through basic FTP/backend webpage access and basic HTML/Javascript (learning provided).
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Client Services teams to evaluate client needs with regards to their objectives and goals, and to coordinate successful delivery of campaigns.
  • At times, consultative engagement with clients with regards to the performance of campaigns, including weekly insights, post mortem analysis, and recommendation for future opportunities.
  • Provide mentorship, assist in training and guidance to junior traders and team executives.
  • Assist in operational discussions and update/improve the company process frameworks that fuel our commitment to maximise efficiency and automate tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in both the planning and buying of online media (CPM, CPC and CPA) campaigns – across multiple platforms:
    • minimum experience needed: Adwords, Facebook/Instagram (paid media)
    • bonus & nice-to-have: programmatic platforms such as DBM. Taboola/Outbrain and other platforms.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem solving/decision making skills.
  • Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
  • Reliable time-management skills; dependable team member.
  • Holistic big picture thinker, sees the “zoomed-out perspective” of any project to help prioritise tasks and manage personal and team time.
  • Likes to work with numbers, has a fast mathematical mind and is very comfortable working with Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets including usage of advanced formulae.
  • Very familiar with paid digital media concepts like CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, RTB, DSP etc.
