About the role

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly technical, systematic and detail-oriented individual with at least 5 years of experience in Ad Platform Marketing Tags/Pixels, Tag Management, Analytics and basic skills in related technologies such as Web Development, JavaScript and HTTP requests. Working independently, the candidate will be given high levels of autonomy but is expected to deliver quality work in a timely fashion. Work is currently a mixed Office/Work From Home (3 days in office/week) position with the occasional requirement of visiting our clients.

Responsibilities

Lead Tag Management and Google Analytics 4 implementation needs supporting our internal as well as our advertiser clients’ online marketing needs for performance tracking and analytics.

Oversee, collaborate and liaise with our, and our clients’ web developers around all technical conversion pertaining to integration of ad tech and analytics.

Ability to quote and price for Google Analytics 4 audits, configuration and implementation, as well as the ability to perform pre-sales, implementation of GA4 and associated client training in-person.

Support the Ad Operations teams in analysing website and ad platform performance data, and providing performance optimisation recommendations

Minimum Qualifications

Malaysian citizen or PR

5 years of experience in Ad Platform Marketing Tags/Pixels, Tag Management & Analytics

Good understanding of internet basics; HTTP requests, URL structure, Redirects, DNS, Domains, Hosting

Deep demonstrated understanding of Google Tag Manager; advanced triggers, custom tag/variable templates, tag sequencing, troubleshooting and preview, GTM staging/production environments, SPA considerations and advanced custom dataLayer-powered triggers for custom site interactions

Strong understanding of the GTM dataLayer; its construct, function and how to interface, push and manipulate data in it and show effective ways to communicate dataLayer requirements with our clients

Strong ability to parse vendor documentation, edit associated javascript code snippets and deploy solid and stable tag combinations according to industry best practises

Complete understanding of Meta Pixel and Google Ads Remarketing and Conversion Action tags.

Implementation of Meta Conversions API and associated decisions on server hosting.

Shopify/Magento/WooCommerce integration experience; ad platform tags, catalog, analytics analytics.

Setup and config of Google Merchant Center, Meta Product Catalogs; feeds, manipulation rules and filters

Nice to Have

Looker Studio (prev. Datastudio) dashboard building, integration with connectors such as Supermetrics

Very comfortable with Google Sheets, named ranges, advanced formulas - particularly ‘QUERY’

Strong understanding of Meta AEM and iOS14.5+ implications and handling thereof

Git version control and Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket experience

Strong understanding of the GTM dataLayer; its construct, function and how to interface, push and manipulate data in it and show effective ways to communicate dataLayer requirements with our clients

Basic web development skills; Building of simple static websites e.g Bootstrap

Basic management of company VPS servers, docker container management and setup/config of basic web services therein, including DNS records, domain name configuration and SSL certificates

Experience in other related tools (show us), such as; Adobe Analytics, Screaming Frog, ahrefs

Attractive Skills

Understanding and implementation of Server-side Tagging (ssGTM), hosting options GA4 deployment

Consent Management; decision and implementation of suitable privacy/consent solution onto clients’ sites and connect/interface against all ad platform tags, preferably through GTM
